Project location: Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Zhengzhou, Henan, China
Long-span steel roof structure
The National Fitness Hall is a public sports facility with a long-span steel roof. Project records specify roof trusses spanning approximately 38.13 m, a structural height of about 37 m and an individual truss weight of roughly 50 tonnes.
The trusses create a broad indoor space for sports and community fitness activities. Their scale calls for coordinated fabrication, transport, lifting and connection work.
Coordinated truss lifting
Project records describe a coordinated two-crane lift. The installation method required verified lifting points, synchronized crane movements and temporary bracing to maintain stability as each truss was positioned.
Public sports facility
The completed National Fitness Hall provides an indoor venue for sports and community fitness programs in Zhengzhou.
