HFCG’s documented ZXTJ-1 package covers fabrication and field erection of approximately 7,136 tonnes of steel box girders.
Project location: ZXTJ-1 section, Zhengzhou–Xuchang Expressway, Henan, China
ZXTJ-1 expressway section
The ZXTJ-1 section runs from K0+000 to K13+302, a length of approximately 13.3 km within the wider 64.323 km expressway. Project records identify HFCG’s work as steel box girder fabrication and on-site erection, with a recorded quantity of about 7,136 tonnes.
Steel box girder configuration
The mainline girders use a three-box, single-cell arrangement, approximately 16.49 m wide and 2 m deep. Ramp structures use a two-box, single-cell arrangement, approximately 8.56 m wide and 2.6 m deep.
Fabrication and field erection
Project photographs show girder transport, crane lifting and completed steel structures. Fabrication accuracy, transport planning and coordinated lifting support placement of large girders along the mainline and ramp structures.
Regional highway connection
The expressway improves regional road connections between Zhengzhou and Xuchang. The ZXTJ-1 girder package forms part of the bridge structures required along this highway section.
