Process

3. Coordinate checks during fabrication, welding and surface treatment at agreed stages.

4. Record results, raise discrepancies for disposition and verify required corrective actions.

5. Compile agreed quality documents and release records with the shipment.

Inspection

Depending on the approved plan, inspection may include material verification and traceability, fit-up and dimensional checks, visual weld inspection, specified NDT, surface-preparation and coating checks, and documentation review. Methods, sampling and acceptance criteria are not assumed where the contract is silent.
